Tips that just might save your phone…

Hand holding mobile smart phone

Broke your phone? Don’t fear we might just be able to help you!

* Please remember these are quick and often temporary solutions. The best steps to take would be to contact an authorised repair centre or the company you purchased from for assistance.

Water damaged?

Accidentally dropped your phone down the toilet? Is it no longer working after sinking to the bottom of the bath? Fear not there is a solution that could save your phone. Rice, yes you heard right! Turn your phone off and leave it in a bowl rice for at least a few days.

Cracked Screen?

It’s perhaps a little known fact that toothpaste (the white variety…not the gel kind) can fill in and hide little cracks on your phones screen. Make sure you sufficiently cover the phone so toothpaste doesn’t get in the speaker etc. then gently rub toothpaste into the crack using a soft cloth. Use a damp one to wipe away an excess!

Screen too far gone?

If your phone screen is too damaged for the above tips you can actually buy repair kits and screens online. Ebay has a great selection available, we also recommend using YouTube as a video guide. Doing the repair yourself may make your phone worse if you aren’t any good at the repair and you will probably invalidate your warranty, so think carefully before attempting!

Earphone port trouble

Cotton buds! Yes you heard right! Stick it in the hole and swivel it around a bit (no pun intended 😉 ) Cleaning inside the headphones jack may in fact solve your troubles!
