Never have we been more excited for a movie release than with Zoolander 2; and judging by the teasers, trailers and Derek’s stint on the cover of Vogue it looks like it won’t disappoint! Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson will reprise their roles as hawt male models Derek and Hansel alongside a whole host of really, really, really great famous faces including Kristen Wiig, Penelope Cruz and even Biebs!
So to honour the film’s hotly anticipated release on 12 February, Stylight decided to celebrate in the best way they know how… by creating Zoolander emojis of course! So from ‘the centre for ants’ to Derek’s infamous Blue Steel they’ve immortalised it all in emoji form – soo hot right now.
So whether you’re looking for that perfect selfie caption or you just want more ridiculous fashun emojis at your fingertips #zoomoji is the communication tool for you.
Stylight’s Zoolander emojis (or Zoomoji as they should be known) combine the best of the original 2001 Zoolander movie with highlights from the Zoolander 2 teasers. Highlights from the first film include the brainwashing machine that Mugatu uses on Derek, the old-school orange Mac that Hansel can’t seem to break into, Mugatu’s ‘god damn latte’ (which coincidentally answers our prayer for more coffee emojis) and of course Mugatu’s poodle. They’ve also added in some more left field choices from our favourite parts of the film including the ‘centre for ants’ and our personal fave: Derek as a merman! ‘Moisture is the essence of wetness, and wetness is the essence of beauty.’ Remember?!
Emojis from the new Zoolander 2 include Bieber (yes they made a Bieber emoji!) who will make a cameo appearance; the brilliant Kristen Wiig who will play plastic surgery addicted skincare guru Alexanya Atoz and Benedict Cumberbatch who will play an androgynous male model rival to the boys. And of course we couldn’t forget an emoji of when Derek and Hansel stole the show at last year’s Valentino show.
And if you need a refresher of the first film we’ve summarised the story in emojis…
Sadly as of now Stylight’s Zoomojis aren’t actually available as a keyboard on your phone but maybe it’s time to use Mugatu’s brainwashing machine on the Apple Store to make these dreams a reality!
