Here are our top tips to make an awesome one!
Onesies only!
They’re comfy and warm (especially if you’re trying to keep heating bills to a minimum.) Unless you want to roam the streets as various animals (yes, we mean you with the monkey onesie!) you’ll save money by not going out to get more alcohol. Plus as the night draws to a close you can just crash instantly in one. No effort or waiting in the cold for a taxi required.
Board Games
There are so many to choose from! Monopoly & Conquest being personal favourites of our house (you can spend days on a game!) To make things more interesting bring in alcohol (of course) and add certain rules, for example landing on someone else’s property playing Monopoly means you have to put a bit of your drink in a cup in the middle, then who ever lands in jail has to down it!
Get yourself a alcoholic hot chocolate
Baileys hot chocolate anyone?
Food
Either grab some meal deals from your local supermarket, or if you have a little more to splash (and feeling a little lazier) grab the takeaway menu. It probably wont be as greasy this way either…
Challenge your house mates to a dance off
This is great towards the end of the night when the energy is starting to fall a little. Have a dance off against your house mates. Even better if you have Just Dance or something similar…otherwise grab someone else to be the judge!
