It’s exam time, and all I want to eat is chocolate, but sadly my brain needs revision fuel! This meal is really quick and simple, so it’s great when you haven’t got time to spend ages cooking, and really tasty as well as being super healthy and packed full of brain food.

Serves: two people.

Cost per person: £0.62

Ingredients:

  • 200g spaghetti
  • 1 can (160g) tuna, drained
  • 75g spinach
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1-2 tsp chilli powder/flakes
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Salt and pepper, to season

Method

1) Put the spaghetti on to boil.

2) At the same time, chop your garlic and fry on a very low heat with the spinach for around 5 minutes, until the spinach is wilted.

3) Break the tuna up with a fork and add it to the spinach with the chilli powder. Fry for another 5 minutes.

4) Serve with the spaghetti and a little parmesan, if you wish. Enjoy!
