This is clearly the best thing ever. Cake. In a mug. What’s not to love!? It takes about 2 minutes to make, and is a great last-minute pudding. Or, if you’re like me, you can have it for breakfast (I definitely did not eat this for breakfast [I definitely did]).
Serves: one person.
Cost per person: £0.35 (price based on Tesco Value ingredients).
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp self-raising flour
- 2 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 1/2 tbsp milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tbsp chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Method
1) Mix together the flour, sugar and cocoa powder in a mug.
2) Add the milk, melted butter and beaten egg, and mix together well.
3) Add almost all the chocolate chips and stir in.
4) Sprinkle the rest of the chocolate chips over the top.
5) Wrap in clingfilm, and microwave for a minute and a half.
6) Serve with ice cream, and definitely do not share.
