I love the kick of the Cajun-style spices on this chicken, and it reminds you of the taste of summer. Cajun chicken is so simple and easy to make – for this you just rub the spices into the chicken and fry it. Perfect for those cold nights when you can’t be bothered to spend ages cooking or doing anything!

Serves: two people.

Cost per person: £0.81 (price based on Tesco Value ingredients).

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts/thighs
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Method 1) Slice the chicken breasts in half, and rub in the paprika, cayenne pepper and oregano, making sure to cover both sides of the chicken.
