As April arrives and the days start to get warmer and longer then suddenly it feels as though summer is only around the corner! And after what seems an eternity of cold, gloomy weather the Lookfantastic April beauty box looks like the perfect thing to get your body summer ready.

What’s more, the beauty box comes with the May 2016 edition of Elle magazine – giving you the lowdown on what’s hot in the fashion and beauty world.

Bloom and Blossom – Bath and Shower Gel
This bath and shower gel comes in a very cool design that will add a touch of class to any bathroom. It’s fragrance free and gentle on skin and also free from parabens and sulfates.
Rituals – Miracle Scrub (Ginseng & Ginkgo Biloba)
This hand scrub is applied to dry hands and then rinsed off. It smells gorgeous (that’ll be the ginseng) and after months of trying and failing to repair extremely dry, winter-ravaged hands, I can confirm that for me this truly lived up to its ‘miracle’ name. After one use my hands looked and felt so much better, and after the second treatment my hands looked completely back to normal with no hint of dryness. Because the scrub is applied to dry hands it feels like it means business but once hands are rinsed they are left very soft and smooth and smelling beautiful!
ELEMIS – British Botanical Hand and Nail Butter
Scented with soothing essential oils of chamomile, lavender, geranium and palmarosa, this hand cream smells so good! Shea butter helps to rehydrate skin and keep it feeling super soft. A new favourite for me!
Balance Me – Super Toning Body Polish
I was already a fan of this body scrub so was pleased to find it in my April beauty box. This exfoliant contains ground walnut to help polish away dead skin cells to give you smoother, more glowing skin. Perfect for getting your pins ready for summer.
Brigeo – Don’t Despair, Repair
This deep conditioning hair mask contains argan oil as well as avacodo and sweet almond oils and vitamins B5, D, A and E to help reduce breakage and add shine. This mask contains no sulfates, parabens, silicones, phthalates, artificial colours or chemical fragrance.
Tanworx – Tan Maintainer
This moisturiser contains coconut and sunflower oils to help hydrate the skin and seaweed to help re-mineralise the skin. This cream is ideal for building up a gradual, natural-looking tan or to use a few days after your fake tan.
We were also lucky enough to receive a bottle of Myvitamins effervescent lemon-flavoured vitamins with green tea extract but there is no mention of these in the Lookfantastic magazine so it’s not known if they are in all boxes.
