Model Co – Blush Cheek Powder
Having heard rave reviews of Model Co cosmetics, it was a nice surprise to find their blusher in the November beauty box. It’s a powder rather than a cream so you’ll need your own blusher brush to apply it but when you do, boy does it give you a natural-looking gorgeous glow! Perfect for the cold winter season.
Look Good Feel Better – Angled Blending Brush
The great thing about the Lookfantastic beauty boxes is that they often throw in a few items that are full size and will last a long time – and this eye make-up brush is one of those products. Make-up brushes can be expensive and when you’re strapped for cash it can be tempting to compromise and use whatever you’ve got to hand to apply your make-up – be it the tiny sponge eye make-up applicator that comes with an eyeshadow compact, a cotton bud or your fingertips! But you’ll notice the difference with a good quality eye make-up brush.
This Look Good Feel Better eye shading brush is designed to shade and contour, and is fantastic for achieving the perfect smokey eye look for the ultimate party eyes! What’s more, the bristles are really soft and allergy-free so are great for even sensitive skin.
L’Oréal – Professionnel Mythic Oil
A nourishing oil for all hair types, L’Oréal’s Mythic Oil contains avocado and grape seed oil to nourish hair and help protect against environmental damage, smoothing flyaways and giving your hair added shine. We loved this oil for making our hair super soft and it has a nice delicate scent to it – but nothing overpowering like some hair products can have. You only need to use a small amount with each use so looks like this bottle will last quite a long time.
Sebastian – Professional Volupt Spray
Give your hair some wow this party season with this this non-sticky hair spray by Sebastian, which lifts hair from the roots for a long-lasting finish. Shake it up well before use for best voluminous results. This 50ml bottle is another product that looks good to last a while!
MONU – Recovery Balm
Help keep your skin in tip-top condition this season with this winter saviour from RENU. Full of natural ingredients that target redness and help to soothe and hydrate skin which has been ravaged by the cold weather. This cream sinks in beautifully when applied to the face and you can really smell the delicate scent of rose oil. Beautiful.
Bloom and Blossom – Revitalising Leg & Foot Spray
OK so the contents of ths month’s box are not all about prepping for party season – the thoughful guys at Lookfantastic have popped something inside that will help to soothe those poor old legs and tootsies that have been dancing the night away in super high heels.
The fine mist is really soothing to apply and contains horse chestnut seed and yellow sweet clover extracts to help alleviate water tension and ease tired legs. It smells very lovely too – which will be thanks to the tangerine leaf oil it contains.
Bonus – Lookfantastic nail file
There’s no mention of this in the Lookfantastic magazine that accompanies the beauty box but our November box had a rather fun and festive-looking nail file inside. Covered in silver glitter – there’s no excuse not to feel festive, even when you are just doing your nails!
